Electrician

Job Description:

An Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial facilities. The role ensures that all electrical work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable electrical codes and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, lighting, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and perform necessary repairs.
  • Install and connect electrical panels, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and instruments to ensure proper operation.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Report defects, hazards, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in Electrical Technology is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions when required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
