Position Summary: As a Project Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing action plans, coordinating initiatives, and supporting the Global Head of Claims in overseeing daily operations. You will be responsible for driving transformative projects, ensuring timely communication, and maintaining high-quality standards in a multilingual and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery Action Tracking: Monitor the implementation of agreed service delivery actions and targets across Health Operations.
- Priority Assessment: Evaluate competing priorities and ensure adequate management time is allocated to critical areas.
- Communication Management: Collaborate with the Strategic Programs team to manage internal and external communications.
- Budget Coordination: Oversee the budgetary planning process and ongoing budget management.
- Business Reviews: Implement and manage functional-level business reviews to support the claims function.
- Claims Updates Reporting: Manage claims-related updates and track associated reporting.
- Transformation Projects: Act as a liaison between global transformation teams and local operations to adapt and execute global strategies. Engage local teams in advancing key projects such as customer experience, system development, AI initiatives, reporting changes, and operational improvements.
- Performance Management: Review detailed operational KPIs for claims, participate in performance reviews, and track the implementation of remediation and action plans.
- Fraud, Waste Abuse: Monitor progress across metrics related to fraud, waste, and abuse, ensuring plans are implemented and deviations are addressed.
- Administrative Support: Assist with email prioritization, urgency tracking, and travel planning for the Global Head of Claims.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as required.
- Technology Integration: Work effectively with AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools while adhering to high standards of data governance, security, and ethical use.
Key Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer-focused environment, ideally in clinical, paramedical, TPA, or insurance roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal, communication, and accuracy skills.
- A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
- Physically fit to carry out duties.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and service standards.
