In this role, you will:
- Assist the engineers to technically review the Customer / Airline workscope and associated set of documents. Provide feedback for possible changes.
- Prepare EEMC internal workscope that includes all the customer/airline requirements (including Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Aircraft Maintenance Programme tasks, etc) and translate the work to be performed on the engine from customer workscope to Job Instructions.
- Prepare all the Task cards in EEMC ERP system (IFS solution) so Planning and the shop floor production can review and prepare the work. Assist the engineers on the Task cards customisation, as necessary.
- Initiate and prioritize work scope and work-pack preparation as per the agreed production plan (print format or e-Task card)
- Ensure work-packs are completed in accordance with work-scope requirements including accountabilities, signature, and completion dates. Ensure all discrepancies are addressed and cleared before the final release of the engines.
- Provide continuous Technical Support to the shop floor for any enquiry related to the disassembly, inspection, repairs, tooling, capability, assembly, and testing of the engine. Support the New Repair process or the introduction of new modification.
- Under the supervision of the engineers, perform the review of Engine Manual revisions and Service Bulletins for Routine and Repair Task Card amendments.
- Coordinate the ‘Material Review Board’ process after Gate 1 closure and technically assess the parts in collaboration with OEM’s representatives.
- Prepare the engine Shop Visit Reports after the release of the engines and discuss any abnormal conditions with the engineers.
- Assist the engineers with the release of engines after test and provide all the re-delivery documents such as but not limited to Life Limited Part status, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives reports, AMP tasks list, Assembly Status Report, Carry Forward sheet, Ship loose, Ship Short, final release certificate, and organise / upload on the documents to the designated portals.
Qualification
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor’ s degree in Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering fields and/or holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence for 3 years
- 3+ years of work experience in a Technical Support or Planning department
- Knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on respective Engine Systems
- Ability to analyse and synthesise the technical information for implementation in cost effective ways
- Excellent drafting and report writing skills
