Job Summary

The Driver cum HVAC Technician / Ductman is responsible for transporting personnel, tools, equipment, and materials safely to project sites while also assisting in HVAC installation, ducting works, maintenance, and repair activities. The employee shall ensure compliance with company safety standards, maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition, and support the technical team to complete projects efficiently.

HVAC Technician / Ductman Duties

• Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork and accessories.
• Fabricate, install, and assemble GI ducts, flexible ducts, dampers, diffusers, grilles, and insulation.
• Install supports, hangers, and brackets for duct systems.
• Assist in servicing and preventive maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Carry out duct repairs, modifications, and leakage sealing.
• Assist in troubleshooting HVAC systems under the supervision of senior technicians.
• Handle HVAC tools and equipment safely.
• Ensure work is completed according to project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Maintain housekeeping at the worksite after completion of work.

Safety Responsibilities

• Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence (Light Vehicle).
• Knowledge of HVAC installation and duct fabrication.
• Ability to read basic HVAC drawings is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or ducting work.
• Experience driving within the UAE.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial HVAC projects is preferred.

Skills

• Good driving record.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and duct installation.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Good communication skills.
• Teamwork and problem-solving ability.
• Time management and reliability.
• Basic English communication (Arabic or Hindi is an advantage).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders or scaffolding.
• Physically fit to perform manual labour.
