The Role
We’re looking for a high-energy, relationship-driven Sales Executive to lead retailer acquisition and onboarding. You’ll be the face of Peety to independent grocery store owners — pitching the platform, closing deals, and getting retailers live and trading on WhatsApp within days, not weeks.
What You’ll Do
– Identify and approach independent grocery retailers across Dubai (and eventually wider UAE) as expansion targets
– Run in-person and WhatsApp-based sales pitches explaining Peety’s value: zero-app-download ordering, AI-powered order capture, and features like the Predictive Basket that lift retailer revenue
– Close retailer sign-ups
– Own the onboarding journey end-to-end: collecting store/menu data, setting up the retailer dashboard, training shop staff on the WhatsApp ordering flow, and ensuring a smooth go-live
– Build and manage a pipeline of prospective retailers using CRM tracking (sign-ups, follow-ups, conversion rates)
– Gather retailer feedback during onboarding and relay product/operations insights back to the founding team
– Represent Peety at local trade events, retailer associations, and grocery supplier networks to build brand presence
What We’re Looking For
– 2+ years in field sales, B2B sales, or retail/FMCG business development, ideally in the UAE market
– Comfortable doing direct, in-person outreach to small business owners — this is a door-to-door, relationship-first role, not a desk job
– Strong communicator in English and Arabic (Arabic strongly preferred given the target retailer base)
– Tech-comfortable: confident demoing a dashboard or WhatsApp-based workflow to a non-technical shopkeeper
– Self-starter who thrives in a startup environment with minimal hand-holding
– Valid UAE driving license (own vehicle preferred — field-based role)
– Bonus: existing relationships with independent grocery retailers, supermarkets, or convenience stores in the UAE
