JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Office Manager at Horus Build is responsible for overseeing all technical documentation, drawing management, and coordination activities for retail and restaurant fit-out projects. This role acts as the central link between the design team, site execution, procurement, and the client to ensure smooth project delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drawing Management
- Prepare, review, and manage Shop Drawings for all fit-out works.
- Prepare and maintain As-Built Drawings upon project completion.
- Ensure all drawings are up to date and properly distributed to site teams.
Quantity & Cost Control
- Prepare and review the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for all project scopes.
- Coordinate and follow up on purchase orders with the procurement team.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Site & Project Coordination
- Follow up and monitor progress on site to ensure alignment with drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect execution quality and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and manage the Sample Board for client and consultant approvals.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for contacting, sourcing, and contract award processes.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain regular communication with the client regarding project updates, approvals, and queries.
- Respond to client technical queries and ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Coordinate with consultants and authorities for approvals and submittals.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain organized project files including drawings, BOQs, approvals, and correspondence.
- Prepare technical submittals and material approval requests.
- Issue and track RFIs (Requests for Information) with consultants and clients.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Technical Office role, preferably in fit-out or interior works.
- Strong knowledge of retail and restaurant fit-out processes and standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other BIM tools is a plus.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Pay: AED6,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
