Full job description

The General Helper is responsible for supporting day-to-day factory operations, assisting skilled technicians, handling raw materials, and ensuring the production area remains safe, clean, and organized.

• Material Handling: Load, unload, and move raw materials (such as fabric rolls, aluminum tracks, brackets, and packing materials) across the factory floor safely.
• Production Assistance: Assist skilled operators and tailors with basic assembly tasks, cutting prep, and holding materials during fabrication.
• Packing & Sorting: Securely pack finished curtains, blinds, and accessories into designated boxes or wrappers according to company quality standards. Label boxes accurately for delivery.
• Inventory Support: Assist the storekeeper in counting, sorting, and organizing inventory in the storage area.
• Housekeeping & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace by sweeping the factory floor, clearing fabric scraps, and disposing of waste materials daily.
• ool Handling: Safely use and maintain basic hand tools (scissors, measuring tapes, tape dispensers) and report any damaged equipment to the supervisor.
• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow company safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety shoes and masks.
