Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes, including eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, pastries, and specialty café items.
  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and timely service to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage the breakfast station, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
  • Assist in menu development by introducing creative and seasonal breakfast specials.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize food wastage.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to maintain kitchen efficiency.
  • Adapt to special dietary requirements and customer preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
  • Work closely with the bakery and coffee team to create a cohesive breakfast experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef in a bakery, café, or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques, plating, and modern café trends.
  • Understanding of food hygiene, safety regulations, and allergen awareness.
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred.
