Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to manage daily housekeeping operations within a healthcare facility. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring high cleaning and infection control standards, managing supplies, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities across patient rooms, wards, corridors, and public areas.
• Monitor staff schedules, attendance, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, HSE, and hospital cleaning standards.
• Oversee terminal cleaning, waste management, and proper PPE usage.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, chemical safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Staff Development Conduct on-the-job training for new hires on chemical safety (COSHH/MSDS), color-coding systems, and patient room etiquette, etc…
• Coordinate with nursing and facility teams to resolve operational issues.
• Reporting: Maintain logs of shift handovers, incident reports, and audit scores for
• management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of infection control, terminal cleaning, and healthcare sanitation standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with healthcare audits (JCI/MOH) is an advantage.

Pay: AED2,500.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
