Project Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY :

The Project co-ordinator is responsible and accountable for the cross-functional management of new product development and sustaining projects. These projects range in complexity that span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures. The Project co-ordinator coordinates the efforts of engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing, procurement, quality, production, logistics, and other cross functional groups to optimize time to Expedite NPDI projects . The Project co-ordinator must build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with project stakeholders at multiple levels, specifically with internal departments and sections, to ensure success of the projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate cross-functional planning and project execution, ensuring the project is delivered on time
  • Monitor project tasks to be done by other departments and ensure activities are finished on time
  • Report project progress through schedule update, to assure the project is on target for schedule
  • Identify key potential issues and escalate it to higher ups to ensure that the project does not slip
  • Identify key risks and prepare contingency plans
  • Adhre to the the NPDI, New Product Develop & Introduction process
  • Assist project team members as required
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma with 3 years experience or Bachelors degree in Engineering with 2 years experience, or other technical degree.
  • Proven ability to communicate & negotiate with people in various level to accomplish tasks
  • competence in problem-solving,follow, report preparation and update
  • Experience in conducting meeting to ensure the progress
  • Ability to quickly develop cross functional relationships to achieve project execution
  • results-oriented with proven ability to accomplish goals
  • knowledge with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Microsoft Project, & Smartsheet
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
