Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Coffee Shop In-Charge to oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth workflow, high product quality, and strong team performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining operational standards, controlling inventory, and driving sales while creating a welcoming environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the daily operations of the coffee shop.
Lead, train, and motivate baristas and service staff.
Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction at all times.
Monitor product quality, presentation, and consistency.
Manage inventory, stock ordering, and supplier coordination.
Control wastage and ensure proper stock rotation procedures.
Handle cash management, daily sales reports, and closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Monitor staff attendance, scheduling, and performance.
Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to increase sales.
Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all operational areas.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a coffee shop, café, or restaurant.
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage service, and café operations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Good understanding of inventory control and cost management.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills.
Fluent in Arabic; English is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Barista certification is a plus.
Experience with specialty coffee concepts is preferred.
