Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist to join our team at [Medical Center Name]. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a UAE medical center, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in handling patient-related administrative tasks. You will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a high standard of service and professionalism while managing daily operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage telephone calls, appointment scheduling, and the center’s booking system.
- Accurately register patients, verify Emirates ID and insurance details, and process related documentation.
- Liaise with insurance companies to facilitate claim processing and approvals.
- Handle payments, including cash and card transactions, and issue receipts as necessary.
- Maintain updated and accurate patient records in the electronic medical system.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, presentable, and organized.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with UAE healthcare regulations.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a receptionist in a medical center or healthcare setting in the UAE.
- Familiarity with UAE medical insurance processes and systems is mandatory.
- Proficiency in using medical software, EHR systems, and appointment scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and UAE healthcare protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.
