Procurement Officer / Purchaser – Landscaping & Construction ProjectsAbout the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer / Purchaser to handle sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management for landscaping, construction, and engineering projects. The role focuses on ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining quality standards and strong supplier relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers
• Obtain and compare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers
• Prepare vendor comparison statements for management approval
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules
• Coordinate with project and engineering teams to ensure technical compliance
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain an updated vendor database

Procurement Operations

• Handle daily procurement activities as per company policies
• Prepare and issue purchase orders accurately and on time
• Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and avoid delays
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases when required
• Ensure materials meet approved specifications and quality standards
• Coordinate with site and warehouse teams for material delivery and inspection
• Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or damaged materials

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier files, and pricing history
• Track purchase orders, delivery status, and invoice processing
• Submit supplier documentation to Finance for payment processing
• Prepare procurement reports including cost summaries and savings analysis
• Monitor procurement KPIs and suggest process improvements
• Maintain organized documentation for all procurement activities

Cost Control & Commercial Support

• Support budget monitoring and project cost control
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing
• Ensure procurement aligns with approved budgets and financial controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of procurement/purchasing experience
• Experience in landscaping, construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects preferred
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Good understanding of procurement processes and cost control
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure
• UAE experience preferred

Preferred Profile

• Experience in landscaping or construction material procurement
• Strong knowledge of UAE supplier market and procurement cycles
• Experience in subcontractor and project-based purchasing
• Immediate joiners preferred
