Role Purpose

To supervise the plumbing and drainage installation workforce on site, deliver water-supply, soil, waste, rainwater and sanitary works to approved drawings, and keep the plumbing scope on programme through testing and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision Lead plumbing labour gang(s); allocate daily tasks, control productivity and meet installation targets.
• Water supply & drainage Supervise installation of hot / cold water supply, soil, waste, vent and rainwater drainage piping, supports and fixtures.
• Sanitary & fixtures Set out and supervise installation of sanitary ware, water heaters, pumps and associated connections during second-fix.
• Setting-out & drawings Set out pipe routes, slopes and fixture positions from approved drawings; flag clashes to the engineer before installation.
• Pressure testing Carry out and record pressure / leak tests on supply and drainage systems and prepare areas for inspection.
• Material control Receive, check and control issue of plumbing materials; minimise wastage and report shortages early.
• Coordination Coordinate with civil, electrical and HVAC trades to sequence work and avoid rework.
• Safety & quality Enforce safe working practices and ensure code-compliant workmanship; support snagging close-out.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / trade certificate in Plumbing, or equivalent hands-on trade training.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Required Experience & Skills

• 6–10 years’ site experience as a plumber progressing to supervisor / foreman on construction projects.
• Must have supervised plumbing & drainage on buildings, villas, warehouses, parks or fit-outs through to handover.
• Able to read plumbing / drainage shop drawings and set out works independently.
• Strong leadership of labour gangs and ability to hit daily targets.
• Practical knowledge of pressure testing, slopes / falls and UAE inspection expectations.

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
