Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accountant & Supermarket Operations Executive to manage daily accounting activities and support the smooth operation of our supermarket. The candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, inventory management skills, and the ability to supervise day-to-day store activities.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties

• Maintain daily sales, purchase, and expense records.
• Prepare and manage cash flow reports.
• Record all financial transactions accurately in accounting software.
• Reconcile cash, bank statements, and supplier accounts.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss statements.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
• Handle VAT-related documentation and filing as per UAE regulations.
• Prepare payroll and employee salary records.

Supermarket Management Duties

• Supervise daily supermarket operations.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate product ordering.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct stock audits.
• Check product expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Coordinate with suppliers for purchases and deliveries.
• Ensure shelves are properly stocked and displayed.
• Supervise cashiers and other store staff.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure excellent customer service.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and supermarket operations.
• Experience in supermarkets, hypermarkets, or retail stores is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the UAE retail/supermarket sector.
• Ability to speak English and Hindi/Arabic is an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: Negotiable based on experience.

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
