About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our lubricant distribution center. In this role, you will lead a team of warehouse associates and forklift operators to ensure the efficient receiving, storage, and outbound fulfillment of bulk and packaged lubricants. Because we operate in a fast-paced B2B distribution and e-commerce environment, you will be responsible for maintaining high inventory accuracy, optimizing order dispatch times, and enforcing strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards for handling petroleum-based products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Supervise daily warehouse activities, including inbound receiving, quality inspection, bulk liquid storage, pick-and-pack operations, and outbound dispatch.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols for the storage and handling of lubricants, chemicals, and potentially hazardous materials. Ensure proper spill containment, manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and conduct regular safety audits.
- Inventory Management: Maintain precise inventory accuracy across all SKUs (drums, pails, cartons, and IBCs) utilizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
- Team Management: Train, schedule, and motivate warehouse staff. Ensure all team members are trained on proper lifting techniques and safe material handling equipment (MHE) operation.
- Fulfillment Optimization: Streamline picking and packing workflows to support high-volume B2B e-commerce and wholesale orders, ensuring 100% on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and optimized for space. Coordinate the maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and rack systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in the automotive, chemical, or lubricant distribution industries.
- Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of HSE regulations regarding the storage and handling of petroleum products and hazardous materials.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and basic office software.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage, train, and resolve conflicts within a diverse warehouse team.
- Equipment: Forklift certification or extensive experience operating material handling equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift/move heavy materials as required in a warehouse setting.
Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
