Job Summary
The Merchandiser is responsible for coordinating customer orders, sourcing fabrics and accessories, monitoring production, and ensuring the timely delivery of garments and uniforms while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and uniform/garment orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers for fabrics, trims, accessories, and finished products.
- Source materials and obtain quotations from local and international vendors.
- Prepare costing sheets and assist in quotation preparation.
- Follow up on sampling, approvals, and production schedules.
- Monitor order progress from confirmation to delivery.
- Coordinate with production teams, factories, and logistics providers.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
- Track inventory levels of fabrics, uniforms, and accessories.
- Maintain order records, purchase orders, and production reports.
- Communicate with clients regarding order status, delivery schedules, and requirements.
- Resolve issues related to production delays, quality concerns, or material shortages.
Requirements
- Experience in garments, textiles, uniforms, or merchandising.
- Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and production processes.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email correspondence.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
