Job Summary

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards in assigned areas. The role involves cleaning offices, common areas, washrooms, workstations, and other facilities to ensure a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Duties

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, equipment, and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, toilets, sinks, and restocking supplies as required.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of garbage according to company procedures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, doors, and mirrors.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, corridors, reception areas, and meeting rooms.
• Ensure kitchens and pantry areas are clean and hygienic.

Maintenance & Safety

• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Store cleaning materials and equipment properly after use.

Additional Duties

• Assist with deep cleaning activities as scheduled.
• Support special cleaning requirements during events or inspections.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the role.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, janitor, or similar role is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.

Skills & Competencies

• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor cleaning duties as assigned.
• May require working shifts, weekends, or public holidays.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.

Pay: AED800.00 – AED1,200.00 per month
