Job Summary
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards in assigned areas. The role involves cleaning offices, common areas, washrooms, workstations, and other facilities to ensure a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning Duties
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
- Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, equipment, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, toilets, sinks, and restocking supplies as required.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of garbage according to company procedures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, doors, and mirrors.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, corridors, reception areas, and meeting rooms.
- Ensure kitchens and pantry areas are clean and hygienic.
Maintenance & Safety
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Store cleaning materials and equipment properly after use.
Additional Duties
- Assist with deep cleaning activities as scheduled.
- Support special cleaning requirements during events or inspections.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the role.
Qualifications
- High school education preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, janitor, or similar role is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
Skills & Competencies
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor cleaning duties as assigned.
- May require working shifts, weekends, or public holidays.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Pay: AED800.00 – AED1,200.00 per month
