Job Description:
1. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, lockers rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
2. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or drapes, using vacuum cleaners and/or shapers.
3. Empty waste baskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
4. Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors, using brooms/vacuum cleaner, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
5. Dust and polish furniture and equipments.
6. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy.
7. Polish silver accessories and metal works such as fixtures and fittings.
8. Replace non-working lights.
9. Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies and bathroom items.
10. Sort used clothing and other articles due to for cleaning.
11. Sort, count, mark clean linens, and store them in linen closets.
12. Wash/wipe windows, walls, ceilings as necessary.
13. Request repair services and wait for repair workers to arrive.
14. Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides.
15. Hang drapes and dust window blinds.
16. Move and arrange furniture and turn mattress.
17. Observe precautions required to protect clinic and patient’s property, report damage, theft, and found articles to manager.
18. Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations, media equipment and furniture for social or business functions.
19. Carry out work as deemed necessary co-workers.
