Role Overview
The Electrical Technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our screens/systems, power supplies, and internal control hardware. This role bridges standard electronics repair with advanced audio-visual calibration. You will ensure our equipment runs smoothly at component and system levels, directly reducing operational downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Component-Level Diagnostics: Troubleshoot faulty LED cabinets, power distribution units, receiving cards, and hub boards.
- Hardware Repair: Perform module repairs, pixel-pitch fixing, precision soldering, and component replacement on PCB boards.
- System Testing & Calibration: Wire, configure, and calibrate screen modules using industry-standard control software (e.g., Novastar, Colorlight).
- Preventative Maintenance: Carry out systematic inspections, cleaning, and firmware updates for warehouse inventory and fixed site installations.
- Technical Documentation: Log detailed repair histories, track parts inventory, and flag systemic component failures.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Technical Know-How: Solid understanding of basic electrical wiring, power supply configurations, voltage testing, and signal flow mechanics.
- Repair Mastery: Competence with multi-meters, soldering irons, and hot-air rework stations for precise micro-soldering.
- Education: Technical diploma, vocational certificate, or ITI in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work systematically under tight deadlines and collaborate effectively with on-site installation crews.
- Driving license: Valid UAE Driving license mandatory.
