Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics / Delivery Coordinator to oversee and coordinate daily delivery operations, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods to customers and business locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling deliveries, coordinating with drivers and warehouse teams, monitoring shipment status, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily deliveries to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate with drivers, transport providers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
• Monitor delivery progress and resolve any transportation or routing issues promptly.
• Track shipments and maintain accurate records of deliveries, delays, and returns.
• Ensure all delivery documentation, invoices, and proof of delivery records are properly maintained.
• Optimize delivery routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
• Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure product availability and readiness for dispatch.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and delivery-related issues professionally.
• Monitor vehicle utilization and coordinate maintenance schedules when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and supply chain operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, delivery coordination, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, transportation management, and delivery scheduling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, or logistics management systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously.
