The Role We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of Gran Caffè. You will be the backbone of our operation — bridging the front and back of house, leading our teams, and ensuring that every service runs seamlessly. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-standard environment and takes pride in building great hospitality from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations across front-of-house and back-of-house, ensuring smooth, efficient, and consistent service delivery
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and floor teams, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and hospitality
- Monitor and manage operational costs including labour, wastage, and procurement, working within set budgets
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu execution, kitchen standards, and food quality consistency
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all departments
- Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism, ensuring swift and effective resolution
- Maintain full compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, food safety standards, and health & safety requirements
- Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior management
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record managing multi-department teams in a high-volume or fine dining environment
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and P&L management
- Deep understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and Dubai Municipality compliance
- Guest-first mindset with the ability to build loyalty and resolve challenges with grace
- Experience working in Dubai or the wider GCC region is strongly preferred
Position: Full-time | Dubai | Competitive salary package
Pay: AED7,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
