About Shaolin Kung Fu Academy

Shaolin Kung Fu Academy is a professional martial arts academy focused on developing confidence, discipline, fitness, focus, and self-defence in both children and adults.

We are looking for a proactive, organised, and confident Receptionist who can take ownership of the front desk, support operations, and contribute to the growth of the academy.

Role Summary

This is not just a front desk role.

The Receptionist is responsible for:

  • managing student relationships
  • supporting renewals and revenue
  • handling administration
  • assisting with sales and events
  • ensuring the academy runs smoothly day to day
  • Being hands on with kids camp

You will be the first impression of the academy and a key part of the student experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Welcoming parents, students, visitors, and enquiries professionally
  • Answering phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails
  • Handling admin tasks and member requests
  • Managing student renewals and following up expiring memberships
  • Selling company products, including uniforms and merchandise
  • Supporting bookings for gradings, tours, camps, and academy events
  • Participating in kids camps, events, and academy activities
  • Liaising with parents and schools for after-school activities
  • Updating records, attendance, payments, and student information
  • Supporting reception during busy class times
  • Communicating clearly with coaches, parents, students, and management
  • Opening and closing the academy
  • Keeping the reception area clean, organised, and professional

Requirements

  • Clear spoken English
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Positive, professional, and reliable
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident using WhatsApp, email, computers, and admin systems
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Previous reception, admin, or customer service experience preferred

Pay: AED2,800.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
