Position Overview

The Production Assistant plays an essential role in supporting daily warehouse, freight, and logistics operations. This hands-on position helps ensure materials, products, and shipments are prepared, organized, and moved efficiently throughout the transportation and warehouse process.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse, freight, and logistics operations to maintain efficient workflow
• Assist with preparing, staging, organizing, and moving shipments for transportation and delivery
• Load, unload, sort, organize, and handle freight, products, materials, and inventory safely and efficiently
• Assist with packaging, labeling, palletizing, and shipment preparation for dispatch
• Inspect incoming and outgoing freight for accuracy, damage, and proper documentation
• Support inventory organization, tracking, and material handling processes
• Help maintain accurate warehouse organization and operational efficiency
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas throughout warehouse facilities
• Follow all company safety procedures, warehouse protocols, and OSHA workplace guidelines
• Collaborate with drivers, warehouse associates, and operations teams to meet daily shipping and operational goals
• Assist with inventory counts, shipment verification, and general warehouse support tasks as needed
• Operate warehouse tools and equipment safely when applicable
