Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for guests
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and organizing
Perform detailed floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, polishing floors, and operating industrial cleaning equipment to preserve a polished appearance
Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently while adhering to safety standards
Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols consistently to maintain a hygienic environment
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to support overall hotel operations
Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work or custodial services within hotels or similar hospitality settings
Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and carpet cleaning using industrial equipment
Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards for guest service excellence
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
Prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus but not required
