Hotel San Buena is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Housekeeping Attendant

Hotel San Buena is a boutique hotel located in Downtown Ventura. Morning shifts are available. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Department: Housekeeping

Reports to: General Manager, Housekeeping Manager

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards and SOP.
Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Replace linens, restock amenities, and ensure guest rooms are prepared for arrivals.
Remove trash, used linens, and other items from guest rooms and dispose of them properly or deliver dirty linen to the Laundry Department.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Housekeeping Manager/Front Desk team.
Ensure the security of guest belongings and adhere to hotel policy regarding lost and found items.
Follow facility safety and security guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and storage areas in an organized and clean manner.
Respond promptly to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
Assist in deep cleaning procedures and special housekeeping projects as needed.
Work efficiently to meet daily room time quotas and cleanliness standards.
Adhere to uniform standards set by the hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or General Manager.

Physical Requirements for this Position

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
