Full job description
The Dishwasher will maintain the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of the kitchen and dining operations. By ensuring all kitchenware, tools, and workspaces are sanitized and properly stored, this position directly supports food safety, smooth service flow, and a positive guest dining experience.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

Maintaining cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas.
Sweeping and mopping floors regularly to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Washing dishes by hand and machine, including running glasses through the dish machine twice for thorough sanitation.
Hand-washing pots, pans, and trays with care to prevent damage and preserve quality.
Cleaning surfaces such as worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to meet hygiene standards.
Sorting, removing, and disposing of trash and recyclables; cleaning trash containers and work areas as needed.
Assisting in food prep when required, including washing and peeling vegetables.
Transporting supplies and equipment between storage and service areas using carts or hand trucks.
Polishing silverware using proper tools and techniques, when necessary.
Setting up banquet tables or kitchen service areas for special events.
Putting away clean items and rotating stock to support kitchen organization and flow.
Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure timely and effective service.
Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred but not required
Comfortable using dishwashing machines, cleaning agents, and food prep tools
Experience in hospitality, catering, or food service environments is a plus
