D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Field Assistant. The right candidate aids construction management in the daily procedures required for the community. Oversee and detail homes for walk-throughs; perform general labor to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of homes and neighborhoods under construction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Complete all work in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures
Assist construction management in all aspects of the construction job
Help in the presentation of homes for customers
Understand and follow work rules and procedures
Maintain daily log of job site occurrences
Load and deliver materials
Set up and take down temporary structures
Provide information to the Customer Service department to help facilitate repairs
Complete job site cleanup daily by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse
Complete any duties assigned by construction management
Move construction materials and fixtures as needed
Assist specialized contractors as needed
Cross train in other areas
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Ability to work overtime
