Job Summary
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the complimentary breakfast area while providing friendly and attentive service to guests. This role ensures the breakfast area is well-stocked, clean, and welcoming in accordance with Hilton brand standards and Tru by Hilton’s vibrant guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area before service begins.
- Arrange food items, beverages, utensils, and condiments according to brand standards.
- Ensure all food and beverage items are fully stocked throughout breakfast service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast bar, dining area, and kitchen space.
- Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner and assist with any breakfast-related questions.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Clear and clean tables, counters, and service stations promptly.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment used during breakfast service.
- Properly store food items and supplies after service.
- Report inventory needs and equipment issues to management.
- Clean Lobby, kitchen, restrooms, and public areas.
- Assist with light prep work and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Food handlers permit – Clay County
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and carrying items.
