Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas by performing detailed cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal
• Assist with floor care activities such as polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
• Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and stored
• Ensure all public spaces are tidy, safe, and welcoming by conducting regular inspections and addressing any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly
• Handle janitorial tasks efficiently during shift changes or as needed to support overall hotel operations
• Follow safety procedures diligently when using cleaning chemicals or operating cleaning machinery
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleanliness goals and uphold the hotel’s standards of hospitality

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly desirable
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is a strong plus
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly
• Strong work ethic with a focus on teamwork and customer service excellence
• Ability to follow safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
