Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to established standards
• Perform cleaning duties in laundry areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace
• Handle special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or stain removal with care and precision
• Ensure all linens are inspected for quality before distribution or storage
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment
• Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of replenishment needs

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and stain treatment
• Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
• Good physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout shifts
• Basic understanding of cleaning protocols and safety procedures
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward guest service
