The Ocean Restaurant, located at the Cape Arundel Inn & Resort, is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Bartender to provide an outstanding guest experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about classic and innovative cocktails, and committed to exceeding guests’ expectations through exceptional service and creativity behind the bar.
Essential Job Functions:
Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Must know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion
Must be able to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused with constant interruptions
Have the ability to speak candidly and knowledgeably about KRC programming and offerings
Understanding of hotel restaurant operations; food and beverage knowledge, steps of service, and cash management as it pertains to the selling of food and beverages
Responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels for all events
Must continually strive for sales growth by having ongoing knowledge of all current menus
Be perceptive, proactive, and engaging. Anticipate your guest’s needs
Proactively relay all customer interactions and complaints
Set the tone for success with a positive attitude and sincere enthusiasm
Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff
Ensure that each and every customer is served efficiently and effectively
Must be a good example while working alongside team members
Be able to communicate restaurant and hotel promotions, local attractions, and points of interest
Additional Responsibilities:
Any other duties assigned by the manager
Must be able to be on feet for the entire length of the shift
Must be able to lift 50lbs
