Job Summary
Position: Front Desk Agent
Shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Shifts are rotating; candidates must be able to work both shifts.
Front Desk Agents are responsible for welcoming and registering guests, delivering outstanding customer service throughout the guest’s stay, and settling guest accounts upon departure.
Primary Responsibilities:
Greet and register guests in a friendly and professional manner
Make, modify, and manage guest reservations
Perform hotel operator and concierge duties
Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service before arrival and throughout each guest’s stay
Maximize room revenue and occupancy
Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Required Skills & Abilities:
Positive, upbeat personality with a strong desire to deliver excellent customer service
Ability to multitask, remain detail-oriented, and problem-solve effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
Basic mathematical skills, including counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays (training provided for all shifts)
Understanding of hotel products and guest services
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a hotel or related field preferred
Prior customer-facing experience required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
