The team at Quality Inn, Akron is seeking a professional and detail-oriented housekeeper to maintain cleanliness standards across all guest areas, including rooms, hallways, stairwells, lobby, breakfast area, elevator, and bathrooms.

** This position may start as a part-time position with the ability to earn more hours as employee progress and reliability is shown and as we move into the busier summer season and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all areas meet high cleanliness standards within specified timeframes, including surface cleaning, disinfecting, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash handling, and laundry.
• Provide consistently professional and courteous service to guests.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, punctuality, and composure in stressful situations.
• Fulfill special guest requests promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages.
• Perform manual cleaning tasks according to safety standards.
• Assist other departments as needed to enhance guest experience.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel or housekeeping experience advantageous but not required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to provide two forms of identification.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable and reliable team player.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
