Duties

  • Oversee overnight front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with a friendly and proactive attitude
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest requests, and provide accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions
  • Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations while maintaining confidentiality
  • Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism, aiming to resolve concerns swiftly and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols of common areas, and controlling access to the property during overnight hours
  • Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial documentation to ensure smooth handovers to daytime staff
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation systems, managing guest keys, and coordinating with housekeeping for special requests

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive guest experiences
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse guests from around the world
  • Familiarity with hotel management software systems and multi-line phone systems
  • Knowledge of hotel procedures including night audit processes, guest relations, and security protocols
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally over the phone and in person
