Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, or polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and assist with linen management as needed
• Support the overall cleanliness of the hotel by participating in deep cleaning projects and special sanitation tasks

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience highly desirable
• Strong understanding of custodial practices and industrial cleaning methods
• Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts
