Katy Furniture is growing and we have immediate openings for a full-time Showroom / Warehouse Assistant / Driver. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are team players and want to be a part of a thriving industry.

Showroom Maintenance and Responsibilities Include:

• Display wall art and mirrors – using a ladder if necessary (6ft+ Ladder)
• Arrange furniture throughout the showroom and relocate to/from the warehouse
• Assemble furniture properly following instructions – Drill and tools are needed
• Receiving and organizing incoming goods
• Preparing furniture for transport; this includes pulling merchandise from the showroom, preparing items for delivery, and placing it in the correct location.
• Trash – breaking down boxes and cleaning out trucks when necessary
• Creating visual displays that guide customers through the showroom
• Maintaining an immaculate work environment
• Ensuring the showroom is clean in regards to placement of furniture and how it is presented.
• Setting up furniture displays. This includes moving furniture, changing tables, rugs, accessories, and placement of furniture (rotations)
• Daily routine of maintaining showroom integrity. This includes but is not limited to merchandise being plugged in properly, cords hidden, tripping hazards, damages of furniture, cleanliness, and other daily tasks needed.
