Coal Club – Brookwood, Alabama

Coal Club is a private, destination golf club currently under development in Brookwood, Alabama. Set across reclaimed mining land, the property features dramatic terrain and a one-of-a-kind landscape that is being carefully restored and shaped into a walking-focused golf experience.

We are seeking a dependable Golf Course Laborer to assist with a variety of on-site tasks and support the ongoing development of the property.

Position Summary

The Golf Course Laborer will assist with general outdoor work across the property including course preparation, land cleanup, and construction support. This role is hands-on and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-moving outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with clearing debris, brush, and general site cleanup
Support course development including shaping, seeding, and preparation work
Operate basic tools and equipment (string trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc.)
Assist equipment operators and project leads as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Follow all safety procedures and site guidelines
Qualifications

Previous outdoor labor or construction experience preferred
Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
Willingness to learn and take direction from team leaders
Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work
Compensation & Schedule

$14–$19 per hour, based on experience
30–35 hours per week
