Candlewood Suites – Louisville Fair/Expo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the overall operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring excellent guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring seamless guest service.
  • Manage and train staff to maintain a professional and efficient work environment.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and courteously.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards are met.
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities to maximize hotel occupancy.
  • Monitor financial performance, assist in budgeting processes, and help control operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel management or a related hospitality role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
