Job Description: Frontdesk Receptionist Night Auditor

As the Frontdesk Receptionist Night Auditor, you will be responsible for front desk duties, guest assistance, daily financial audit processes, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment during nighttime hours. This role requires attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner during overnight hours.
Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and process guest payments accurately.
Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and at the desk, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
Perform nightly financial audit procedures, balancing daily transactions and preparing required reports.
Verify and post charges for rooms, taxes, restaurant/market purchases, and other revenue.
Resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate guest folios.
Conduct regular safety and security property walkthroughs to maintain a safe environment.
Maintain a clean and organized lobby and front desk area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
Serve coffee and offer basic guest assistance during morning transition hours.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and IHG brand standards.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills with a guest-first attitude.
Excellent attention to detail and comfort with numbers/financial balancing.
Ability to work independently and stay alert throughout overnight shifts.
Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
Proficiency in using computer systems and reservation software; experience with IHG/PMS systems is a plus.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Flexible availability, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
