Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests, present menus, and provide detailed information about food and beverages.
  • Take customer orders accurately and serve food & drinks promptly.
  • Ensure tables are clean, set, and maintained throughout service.
  • Handle guest complaints or requests politely and efficiently.
  • Cross-sell and upsell menu items by suggesting promotions, special dishes, and pairing options (e.g., recommending desserts, beverages, or add-ons).
  • Process bills, handle payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a waitress/waiter in a hotel or fine dining restaurant preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and handle busy service hours.
  • Good knowledge of cross-selling and upselling techniques.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and professional appearance.

Cross-Selling & Upselling Skills:

  • Suggesting side dishes, appetizers, or desserts to enhance the order.
  • Recommending premium beverages or signature cocktails.
  • Promoting daily specials or chef’s recommendations.
  • Encouraging guests to try combo meals or upgraded portions.
