Night Auditor

Full job description
The Aava Whistler Hotel is seeking our next colleague to join our Night Audit Team. This is an overnight position that offers professional and exemplary customer service at every point of contact – whether with guests, colleagues or external customers. This role performs the daily audit of the hotel, produces a number of reports as well as performs Front Desk duties, Bell Person duties and makes reservations.

Main Duties:

Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a strong first impression of the quality of service they can expect during their stay
Perform check in and check out services
Resolve any guest issues
Work with the houseman on duty to deliver any requests to guest rooms
Answer all phone calls and make reservations if required
Run the night audit reports and resolve any issues
Be responsible for the safety and comfort of all guests.
Handle any guest complaints related to noise/disturbances to the complete satisfaction of the guests.
Communicate all issues/incidents via correct reports to Managers for review the following day
Understand all emergency procedures
Prepare reports for the Front Desk agents the following morning
Requirements:

Previous Night Audit experience preferred
Knowledgeable in computer functions (word, excel, internet)
Attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task
Confidence in dealing with guest issues/emergency issues
Must be fluent in English both verbal and written
Ability to work in a team, and work with minimal supervision.
Must be a responsible and capable individual, with good communication skills
Must be able to work with little to no supervision
