Lexington Hotel Group is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic sales professional to lead sales and account relationship efforts at Holiday Inn Express Cape Coral- Fort Myers area.
The Sales Manager drives top-line revenue through proactive prospecting efforts, developing new and existing accounts, and building strategic relationships to achieve and exceed assigned revenue goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, and energized by operating in a fast-paced hotel environment where performance and service excellence go hand in hand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive revenue growth across all market segments through strategic prospecting and relationship development.
Identify and secure new corporate negotiated, local group, and transient accounts
Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive market knowledge.
Collaboratively work with the General Manager and property team to achieve 100% or more of total hotel room budget goals, group room goalscorporate negotiated goals through ADR and occupancy.
Prospect new and existing business opportunities proactively through weekly appointments, cold calls, referrals, front desk arrivals, networking, internet prospecting, and sales blitzes.
Develop creative sales initiatives to penetrate new business segments
Communicate effectively to both internal and external customers.
Maintain accurate reporting within Salesforce and brand systems
Ability to learn and use a variety of software systems required for tracking, reserving and reporting including Word, Excel and Salesforce.
Actively Collaborate on weekly revenue strategy meetings to optimize ADR, occupancy, and total revenue performance
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years hotel sales experience
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Salesforce preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
Valid Driver’s license, acceptable driving record and insured vehicle
Ability to travel locally to existing and potential clients required
Other occasional travel as necessary
