Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry, particularly in catering, food preparation, and customer service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items in accordance with established standards, including food presentation and portion control.
- Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring they are well-stocked, clean, and inviting for guests.
- Serve guests courteously, taking orders when necessary and providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Replenish supplies and organise serving utensils, crockery, and cutlery to ensure efficient operation during busy periods.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of food items and cleaning protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering or hospitality is desirable; restaurant or barista experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holiday shifts as required.
- A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail in food presentation and cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting tasks when necessary.
