The Lakeside motel is hiring a pool attendant to join our team! We are a busy 11 room, 2 house motel located in downtown Wellington. We are seeking driven, positive and focused team players with outstanding attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines and high standards.

This position is seasonal and weekend hours are required. May – October.

The position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

· Greet hotel guests and day pool attendees.

* Check guests into the pool, and review pool policy/information about the pool area.

* process authorizations, payments
* Uphold the visual standard of the pool area and laundry/towels

· Ensure maximum capacities of pool and spa/sauna areas are being maintained at all times

· Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of pool and sauna areas, record pool and spa testing records.

· Maintaining stock levels of towels for guests in pool and sauna areas.

· Be knowledgeable of Lakeside amenities/policies in order to accurately advise guests

· Opening and closing duties

·Take payments and deposits

·Ensures all posted pool rules are being adhered to, and enforcing all policies.

·Reporting to Management any special guest requests or poolside needs

The ideal candidate possesses the following:

• The ability to stand for long periods.
• Previous pool experience an asset/ check in person role.
• Kind, courteous, outgoing, and helpful demeanor
• Strong communication skills, ability to enforce all rules and policies placed by the company.
