Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Clerk to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and excellent customer service. You will handle check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, answer questions, and help resolve guest concerns. You will also work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations.

Shift Needed: Night and Evening (8 hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience
  • Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software
  • Handle room assignments, payments, and billing accurately
  • Answer phone calls and respond promptly to guest questions and requests
  • Resolve guest concerns calmly and efficiently to ensure satisfaction
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address room and facility needs
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and service standards
  • Reconcile daily transactions and prepare basic reports for management
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

Qualifications

  • Previous front desk or hotel experience preferred (hospitality experience is a plus)
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using hotel management systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable, professional, and guest-focused attitude
