Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry operations, including washing, drying, and folding linens and garments. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques.
  • Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
  • Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products in guest rooms and laundry areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Maintain organized laundry facilities and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services within a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
  • Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
