Seeking a Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to manage the daily operations of the front office and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will act as a bridge between management and front desk staff, focusing on team leadership, guest relations, and administrative oversight.
- Team Leadership: Supervises front desk staff, including training to specific standards, and maintaining regular performance standards.
- Guest Service Management: Resolves complex guest complaints, oversees smooth check-in/check-out processes, and ensures all interactions meet professional standards.
- Operations & Administration: Creates weekly staff schedules, manages inventory of office and guest supplies, and maintains accurate billing and cash handling procedures.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Communicates critical shift information to other hotel departments and may serve as the “Manager on Duty” during specific shifts.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Preferably at least one year of hotel front desk experience, though other relatable experience will be considered.
- Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office is preferred. Strong communication, multitasking, and basic mathematical skills are essential.
- Education: A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Availability: Flexibility is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as we are operational 24/7.
