Chay Concept is a new upscale casual Vegetarian restaurant and bar located in Soma Towers, Bellevue WA. We are seeking helpers to assist the kitchen team and servers with providing good customer service, maintaining cleanliness of front-of-house and back-of-house, and keep the kitchen running smoothly.

*Responsibilities*

• Taking out the garbage and replacing garbage bags
• Washing, drying, and putting away all dishes, glasswares, and kitchen utensils
• Unloading food supplies from delivery trucks
• Maintain clean and neat restaurant area, in accordance with procedures, routines, and hygiene requirements
• Maintain thorough knowledge with the description/composition of all menu items
• Ensure sideboards on stations are adequately stocked with replacement cutlery and other established needs
• Take care of all equipment and supplies issued to you from time to time
• Ensure par stock levels are adequate
• Attend to customer inquires satisfactorily
• Present a clean, pleasant and neat image to guests. Ensure that a standard uniform is always worn when on duty
• Assistance with overall team service
• Compliance to all restaurant rules of conduct, policies and procedures
• All other work duties as assigned
• Requirements
• Experience in similar roles is a plus
• Able to multi-task efficiently
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
• Ability to use common kitchen equipment and appliances safely
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Food Handling Permit required
