Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in and check-out process. This role requires a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Previous hotel experience and familiarity with front desk operations are preferred but not mandatory. The Guest Service Agent plays a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, addressing guest inquiries and reservations
  • Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
  • Handle guest requests promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained
  • Uphold excellent phone etiquette and communication standards at all times
  • Assist with guest services such as luggage assistance, concierge services, and special requests
  • Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming

Experience

  • Previous experience in hotel front desk or customer service roles is preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service best practices
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and reservation management software is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest relations
